Kapampangan Beginner Wild Animals
The Philippines is rich in indigenous wildlife. Although there are no Lions and Tigers in the Philippines, the country has its fair share of large predators like the Philippine Eagle, the country’s national bird and also the largest eagle in the world in terms of wingspan, as well as the Saltwater Crocodile, the largest reptile in the world.
The Philippines is also home to the Tarsier, the smallest primate in the world, as well as a few other species of monkeys. There are also a variety of wild mammals and birds that cannot be found anywhere in the world, such as the Tamaraw, a rare water buffalo, and the Philippine Hornbill. Other, more elusive wild animals unique to the Philippines include the Pilandok (a small relative of the deer family), and the Binturong (a nocturnal mammal that eats insects, eggs, and fruit).
